Daniel Marcus William Beak

Major General Daniel Marcus William Beak VC, DSO, MC amp Bar was a British Army officer and an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

Beak was born in Southampton, Hampshire onJuly 1891 and educated at Tauntons School.
